The history

of our non profit

Da Krewe du Roux was founded in 2017, to bring the original spirit, festivities, and traditions of Mardi Gras to the city of Galveston, Texas. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that hosts many yearly events with proceeds benefiting El Mina Shriners of Galveston & The Ronald McDonald House. Since our founding, we have donated over $85,000 to these two charitable organizations. We look forward to many more years of hosting great events and having fun while helping our community.
